Why be an entrepreneur? Finding your why.

As we mentioned in the tool about entrepreneurship, becoming an entrepreneur is about solving problems. But why do you want to solve other people’s problems with your business ideas?

Simon Sinek is a British-American author and organisational consultant, and he reckons that “People don’t buy what you do – they buy why you do it!” We think he’s pretty spot on! You have to care about what you’re doing and why you’re doing it.

Sinek uses the Golden Circle method to help people understand this and find their why. In the video below, Sinek explains how popular businesses use this method to define why their core business is valuable to their customers and in turn why their customers should interact with them.
